Ependymoma.info was founded in August 2005 to help share information on ependymoma tumors by Judy Westphal, a survivor of two occurrences of 4th Ventricle ependymomas, along with her husband Denis.

It is their belief and hope, that those inflicted should have as much information possible from their very first symptom. This information, together with the support of family and friends, can offer an understanding of what ependymoma tumors are, types of treatments available, and the impact the tumor and treatments can have.
